Automatically dosed.
Flours, seeds and baking agents often return in recipe after recipe. IAS.4 stores four suitable dry ingredients and doses them automatically, taking recurring additions out of the hand-weighing routine. Patriq provides the quantities for each batch.
Individual dosing screws feed a central hopper, ready for onward conveying. Choose the bin size and dosing method around your recipes: standard sequential dosing, or SpeedCAT for all four ingredients in parallel.

The value is in the repeated work. Ingredients that your team weighs again and again can move from dedicated storage into the batch automatically. Filling, dosing and conveying form one process, while occasional ingredients can remain part of Patriq’s guided hand weighing.
01 / FILL & STORE
Keep the next batches supplied.
Pneumatic filling replenishes the bins through hose connections, with filters separating the conveying air. Bin weighing can show remaining stock and support overfill protection. Manual filling is also an option, depending on the configuration and your ingredient supply.
02 / METER & COLLECT
Dose each addition from its own bin.
Each ingredient has its own dosing screw. Fine dosing and an outlet shut-off control the end of the addition, while pneumatic assistance supports material flow from the bin. That gives each recipe addition a defined route from storage to the collection hopper.
03 / CONVEY TO PRODUCTION
Send ingredients where they are needed.
A rotary feeder transfers the collected ingredients into a suction or pressure conveying line. IAS.4 can supply a receiving point in an existing bakery or join a new installation; we match the route and receiving equipment to the required batches.

- Four ingredients in one unit — Four storage bins surround the central collection hopper and conveying connection.
- Bin and drive arrangement — Each bin has its own screw drive, feeding the collection hopper within the frame.
- Pneumatic filling — A CAMLock coupling connects the filling hose; the conveying air is filtered at the bin.
- Collection and onward conveying — Screw outlets feed the central hopper. The rotary feeder below transfers the ingredients to the conveying line.
- Pneumatic components — Pneumatic connections and tubing sit between the ingredient bins.
- Integrated controls — The electrical cabinet is built into the unit shown, with controls and wiring accessible behind the door.

In standard operation, IAS.4 weighs the recipe ingredients one after another. SpeedCAT gives each ingredient its own production weighing and variable-speed screw drive, so all four can dose at the same time. The longest individual dosing step determines the parallel dosing phase, rather than the sum of all four.

Illustrative example: four equally long dosing steps take four time units sequentially and one in parallel. Different ingredient quantities and flow rates change the result. Filling, onward conveying and other process stages still contribute to the total production cycle.

Which ingredients run most often?
Begin with the ingredients that create the most repeated weighing work. Flour-like powders, seeds and baking agents are possible candidates. We check flow behaviour and the smallest and largest additions before selecting the dosing arrangement.
Where should the ingredients arrive?
One mixer, several production areas or an intermediate weighing point lead to different conveying layouts. We use your destinations and batch frequency to plan the transfer route and decide whether parallel dosing fits the wider process.
How often does the product change?
Dedicated bins suit recurring ingredients. If products or ingredients change frequently, access and the cleaning process become part of the selection. IAS.4 uses dry cleaning for product-contact components; we discuss your changeover and separation requirements before choosing the arrangement.

Patriq brings IAS.4 additions together with hand weighing, water dosing and mixer steps. Operators work from the batch recipe, and connected weighing results become part of the production record. The equipment supports the recipe flow rather than creating another separate operating task.
You can add IAS.4 to equipment from other manufacturers. NIO assesses the machinery and controls already in place, keeps suitable equipment and replaces electrical panels only where necessary.
